Workshop Engineer

CAM Fork Lift Trucks Limited, appointed TCM Dealer are looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Engineer.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate full knowledge gained from having experience on all aspects of fork lift trucks and other associated materials handling equipment sold within our product portfolio and must be able to deliver a first-class customer experience. 

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1630hours (plus authorised overtime at time & a half when necessary)

Hourly Rate: Negotiable dependent upon experience

Holidays: Commencing at 30 days per annum

Based: Sheffield, S9 2PF

The Role:

The successful candidate will have to demonstrate knowledge of IC engines, Brake systems, Hydraulics and Electrics as they will be required to service, maintain, repair and refurbish equipment in our workshop based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

You will also be responsible for accurately completing service reports and job cards using PDA/Toughbook. Remuneration and benefits meet the requirements one would expect from a progressive Company.

Personal Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Fork Lift Industry or a recognised time-served apprenticeship would be advantageous or individuals seeking a new challenge from a similar industry such as HGV and Plant.
• Applicants from a military background and associated motor vehicle trades will also be considered.
• You will need to be proactive, show initiative and ideally hold a full clean UK driving licence.
• You must have your own tool kit to allow you to work on a range of equipment although specialist tools are provided.
